The NKU Norse capped off their month with an exciting 2-1 victory over Detroit Mercy on October 30. This win placed them second in the Horizon League standings, a testament to their hard work throughout the season. Earlier in the month, NKU demonstrated their strength at home with a 2-1 win over IU Indy on October 13, maintaining an undefeated record on their turf and winning four out of five games. They also secured a 1-0 victory against Purdue Fort Wayne on October 10, showing their consistency and competitiveness in every match.

EKU Clinches ASUN Conference Tournament Spot

The Eastern Kentucky University Colonels had an outstanding October. On October 13, they clinched a 1-0 victory over Queens, securing a spot in the ASUN conference tournament. This was followed by another 1-0 win against West Georgia on October 10. Earlier, the Colonels showed their prowess on the road with a dominant 4-0 win over North Alabama on October 6, proving they’re a force to be reckoned with as they move forward in the tournament.

Louisville Cardinals Deliver a Major Upset

In one of the biggest surprises of the month, the University of Louisville Cardinals took down #25-ranked California on October 20 with a thrilling 2-1 win. This victory was not only an upset but also a showcase of the team’s resilience and capability to challenge highly ranked opponents.

University of Kentucky Wildcats Prevail Over LSU

University of the Cumberlands Celebrates Defensive Mastery

The University of the Cumberlands wrapped up October with a series of wins and milestones. Their 3-0 win against #16 Cumberland University of Tennessee on October 18 marked their eighth shutout of the season. Forward Jayden Boelter also made history on October 3 by becoming the first player in the university’s history to reach 200 career points, solidifying her legacy as one of the program’s top scorers.

Murray State Racers Win on Senior Day

Senior Day at Murray State University was a memorable one, as the Racers defeated Valparaiso Beacons 2-1 on October 20. This win was a fitting way to honor the team’s seniors and demonstrated their strength and cohesion as they head into the final stretch of the season.
