BGFC Get Revenge in Dominant Fashion

The Bowling Green Football Club earned the revenge that they sought as they dominated Pre College Developmental Academy Black 4 to 0 on Friday night at Preston Miller Park.

The Golden Lions were led by their young star, the red dragon, #11 Will Bryan, who scored a hat trick on the night. Bryan started his scoring journey with a beautifully struck and nice finish in the fourth minute. This was followed up with another gorgeous stuck ball that found the back of the net to put BGFC up 2 to 0.

The remainder of the first half and most of the second half were mostly inconsequential as both teams traded positions and made subs. However, things changed in the 75 minutes as Bryan once again found himself again on the score sheet; earning him the hat trick. Moments later Bryan was subbed off and received a standing ovation from the modest crowd and his teammates.

The scoring concluded in the 91st minute as BGFC #14 Arning put the final nail in PCDA Black as the Golden Lions finished the mated as 4 to 0 winners.

The win moves BGFC up to third in the UPSL Kentucky/Tennessee Division and would give them a direct line to the divisional semi-finals. However, the season is not over yet and BGFC still has three games left; one at home, and two on the road. The road matches have been a mixed bag for the Golden Lions so far this season as they are 1-1-1 (win-draw-loss) but they will need to get positive results if they wish to stay in the top part of the playoff picture.
