Racing Louisville remains undefeated with their first win of the season, breaking the stretch of four consecutive draws. Moreover, this was the club’s first win with their new head coach Bev Yanez as multiple records were broken for the club. In the post-game interviews, Yanez said: “It feels amazing for this group. They work so hard every single day to be the best that they can be, and to be able to have this breakthrough, obviously it’s something we’ve really wanted and we’ve been yearning for. Having that here at home in front of a record-breaking crowd is the most special moment for all of us.”

With their historic win over the Utah Royals, Racing Louisville is now fifth in NWSL standings. The squad is hopeful and aims to secure another win as they travel to battle Gotham FC on Sunday, April 28.
