Racing Louisville FC Makes History with Epic Victory

On Saturday, Racing Louisville FC not only secured a win but also a couple historic milestones. Racing Louisville’s 5-1 victory over the Utah Royals marked the highest goals scored in Racing’s club history. The match also marked the club’s first win of the 2024 NWSL season in front of their largest crowd of 11,365 fans—breaking the previous attendance record by more than 1,000 fans.

EKU Soccer’s Most Decorated Team in Program History

Last week Eastern Kentucky University’s 2024 class became the most highly decorated group of incoming players in program history. On March 10, head coach Matt Cosinuke announced that the team signed Bo Claussen from Virginia and Fernanda Quiroz, a U15/U17 Mexico Youth National Team player. Earlier this year the Colonels had already signed three All-Americans; before 2024, the team had only signed one incoming freshman All-American in nearly twenty years.
